Here are some cute pictures I found of me and my brother when we were little. We don't really talk as much as we used to, and I wish that were different. When we were younger, we would talk and play all the time...

even when I made him dress up like a cheerleader

and did his hair

and made him play house

SIGH, the good 'ole days...

Recent Trips and Silly Pics

Hey all.

So, as promised, here are some pics from the trip with my mom to Cincinnati and Louisville.

Yep! We have enough oil!

We just HAD to stop at Target on the way to buy some adorable little shoes.

If we just follow the blue highlighted route WEST...

most of my aunts, Grandma, and me

my mom in her new white jean jacket and Birthday crown (courtesy of her sister Betsy)

(Grandma's birthday was coming up too).

My mom toasted with wine, while my aunts Judy and Anne decided to toast with Diet Rite...

A rest stop somewhere in Ohio (I was napping, OKAY?!)  Best lookin rest stop I've ever seen...

and of COURSE a yummy sandwich to enjoy while appreciating the scenic rest stop...

THE END

So, it was a little less than a year ago that I had the privilege of going to Ireland with a class from Eastern University, and lately...I have been DYING to go back. This picture was taken on Inis (Island) Mor, an island off the coast of Galway. It was the first time that I ever traveled outside of the United States (apart from Niagara Falls), and I was (am) SO grateful. It gave me serious traveling fever, however, and I am really itching to get some more use out of my passport...ASAP.

In other news...classes are going well. So far, it is just a lot of reading, which I don't mind so much. One class has pop quizzes, which sucks, but atleast it keeps me on my toes. In one of my classes I actually "re-met" a girl who I was friends with when I was like 5! It was really wild! She actually still lives in my neighborhood, as she did throughout my childhood. We really hit it off, and it's great to have someone I know in one of my classes.

The "job thing" has gotten a bit less ambiguous, as I have officially applied to an agency similar to the one that I worked for in PA (Devereux). The job would be similar- working with special needs individuals in their homes. I was tempted, VERY tempted, to look for  a job that was a bit more mindless (like Starbucks or something), to take a break from the potentially emotionally-draining nature of working with special needs individuals again. BUT, I DO have a heart for that population and I also really need the money, to be honest. (It pays a heck of a lot better than retail). SO...we'll see how it goes. I'm hoping that I get assigned to clients who have good families- it makes a HUGE difference.

Alright, well, time to get off my butt and get some work done. Thanks to everyone who has been posting comments. I'll try to keep posting more regularly. Please keep Toby and I in your prayers...he is expecting a call in the next couple of days regarding the job in Frederick, MD (closer to me). Have a BLESSED day, afternoon, night, etc.

WOW! I did it! For some reason, I never saw that pic icon before! Thanks for the help Timothy! Oh by the way- this is me about to eat some yummy prime rib this past summer. ANYwho...will definitely be using my "new found pic knowledge" again real soon...
